Prase (プレーズ, Purēzu^?) is a female Toy Poodle Jewelpet who represents studying.

Appearance

Prase is a small Toy Poodle colored light brown with orange ears. She wears two daisies on her ears and a jewel necklace with a clover-shaped jewel.

Charm Form

Prase's Charm is a hexagonal shape. It is colored light brown and decorated with six chrysoprase jewels in a flower-shaped arrangement and four more surrounding it. The Charm is also decorated with white gold trimmings.

History

In Jewelpet (anime), she's the partner of Misaki Azabu, Ryoko's little sister. Cursed by Diana, Misaki loses her aptitude for studying and falls behind in class, turning her to delinquency. Prase appears to help restore her capacity.

In Jewelpet Twinkle, she is the former partner of Judy, who became Jewel Star 12 years before the start of the series.She serves as the Academy's bell-ringer after her run as a human's partner.

In Jewelpet Happiness, she tries to build a play from Cinderella with the help of Ruby and the others. She peppers her speech with French words in this season.She forms a Magic Gem with Azusa-sensei.

She has minor roles in the other seasons.

Trivia

• Prase's name is derived from Chrysoprase (pictured), a gemstone variety of chalcedony (a cryptocrystalline form of silica) that contains small quantities of nickel. Its color is normally apple-green, but can be deep green.
  • Her secondary motif involves flowers, hence the yellow daisies and four-leaf clover.
• Prase's design is inspired by Chiffon from the Cinnamoroll franchise. Both characters were designed by Miyuki Okumura.
