Jewelpet the Movie: Sweets Dance Princess (映画ジュエルペット スウィーツダンスプリンセス?) is the first Jewelpet animated film. It was released to theaters in Japan on August 11, 2012.
The movie is directed by Hiroaki Sakurai.
Plot
Ruby and some of her friends travel to Sweetsland to greet Princess Mana on her seventh birthday, and give her the gift of a special dance. However, things go awry when a mysterious object falls from the sky, containing a male pet whose identity is unknown.

The movie was first announced in February of 2012 to commemorate the fifth year of the franchise.
It stars Japanese child actress and singer, Mana Ashida, as Princess Mana. Ashida also performs the theme song for the film, "Friends Forever and Ever".
