Mizuki (みずき Mizuki?) is a major character from Lady Jewelpet. She is best friends with Charon and Momona and one of the Petite Ladies in training. Her Jewelpet mentor is Garnet.
Appearance[]
Mizuki has short, tousled blond hair clipped back with an aqua hairclip and beautiful aqua eyes.
Casually, she is seen wearing a loosely buttoned white dress shirt with a design of a blue vine/plant on it, with also blue pants, and blue sandals with daisies on the sides. She also has a matching bracelet that has a blue band and a white daisy that is worn on her left arm. When in her Lady form, she keeps her same hairstyle and wears a formal blue colored dress.
Personality[]
Mizuki is a tomboy with a spunky personality. Though she is training to be a lady, Mizuki dislikes girly/cute things and feels uncomfortable in fancy dresses. She is afraid of bugs, has a crush on Soarer and eventually becomes his girlfriend by the end of the series.
History[]
Mizuki is a Petite Lady residing in the Jewel Palace. Garnet is her mentor.
When Mizuki was little, she got lost in a forest outside her villa. As she wandered aimlessly, a mysterious lady in a mask (later revealed to be Lady Boot) rescued her and led her to safety. To this day, Mizuki wants to become a lady like the one who saved her. She became a Petite Lady candidate in hopes of becoming a lady just like her. Near the end of the series, she is currently training to become the next "Masked Lady".
Etymology[]
- The name Mizuki is written in hiragana (みずき), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (瑞希), it could possibly mean "felicitous omen, auspicious" (瑞) (mizu) and "hope" (希) (ki).
Trivia[]
- Mizuki is not good with books as she always get sleeply while reading.
- Mizuki knows how to ride horses.
- It is never explained how Mizuki met Garnet in-series.
