At the End of the Light (光の果てに, Hikari no Hate ni^?) is the first opening and ending of Jewelpet Happiness. The song is composed by Tetsuro Oda, lyrics composed by Satomi, and sung by an idol group called Fairies.

Trivia

• Hikari no Hate ni is the first song Fairies contributed to an anime show.
• The song is Fairies' 6th featured song.
• This is the first song in Jewelpet anime series that is used as both an opening theme and an ending theme; it is followed up by RUN with U.
  • Though the former is used in one season only, while the latter is used in two seasons, Jewelpet Happiness (as OP) and Lady Jewelpet (as ED).
• This is the first song that is performed by an idol group. The songs after that all followed the pattern.
• This song is the first song to not be dubbed in European Portuguese; the Japanese version is retained.
  • From this song on, the songs will retain their Japanese versions in the Portuguese dubs of later seasons.
  • Additionally, although the RUN with U opening sequence was introduced in episode 40, it is set to Hikari no Hate ni, with Run With U never being played in the dub.
  • However, in Lady Jewelpet 's ending sequence in the dub, the song Run With U remains untouched.
• in episode 39 and 47, Chiari and her friends sing this song during a few scenes.
  • In the Portuguese dub of those same episodes, in episode 39, the song is actually sung in Portuguese (with some parts of the lyrics being in Spanish), while in episode 47, it was only sung in Spanish, presumably due to the fact that the Portuguese dub is translated from Spanish.
