Coal is a male capybara Jewelpet and overall the 39th debuting character in the franchise. He represents Endurance.

Appearance

Coal is a brown male capybara with dark brown stubby paws. His Jewel Eyes are made of dark purple coal and he wears a necklace made of black and white beads resembling prayer beads. In quite a few episodes of Jewelpet Kira☆Deco!, he also appears in disguise as Coarumi, a "female teacher" who attracts students with her good looks and charm.

Charm Form

Coal's Charm form is brown and square-shaped with white stripes, a pink heart and a blue diamond-shaped gem in the center. It also has Coal's black and white bead necklace.

Personality

Coal is often evil-minded and cold-hearted. He is also a very diligent and hard worker and is the type of Jewelpet that gets humiliated very easily. He often fails at trying to achieve what he does, making him endure through it all.

Coal's skills in Jewelpet Kira☆Deco! aren't very good, but when they are at its peak, they can give off great damage.

History

In Jewelpet Kira Deco, he is a member of the Decoranain and the show's most active antagonist. He answers directly to the Dark General, a man that he considers his father. On his mission to get the Deco Stones and corrupt them with darkness, he enlists the help of Opal and Io, who hate Ruby and her friends. Although he loves to boast that darkness is his only mistress, his continuous failures and humiliations eventually catch up to him.

He's a background character in the other seasons.
